Waterville Bridge over the Maumee River is now open!

City of Waterville residents gathered together earlier last week to usher in a new landmark – the Waterville Bridge over the Maumee River on SR 64. Pat McColley, ODOT District 2 Deputy Director, and other local and state dignitaries were on hand for the official ribbon cutting to open traffic on the new structure. Designed by MSG, the multiple span concrete I-beam bridge with roundabout features pedestrian walkways and outlook platforms, which allow for a spectacular view of the scenic Maumee River. Decorative arches, lighting and piers, along with local sculptures highlighting the historic heritage of Waterville.
