TRC's SMARTCenter

Auto industry experts estimate that 25% of all vehicles will have full or partial autonomy by 2035. Helping to lead this effort is the Transportation Research Center, Inc., the most comprehensive independent vehicle test facility and proving grounds in the US. Located 50 miles northwest of Columbus, Ohio, MSG provides engineering services for TRC’s SMARTCenter, which has the longest (1.2 miles) and widest (six lanes) connected, signalized intersection in the industry and an urban network consisting of movable intersections, roundabouts, and oblique intersection scenarios.
