Brandon Hill Gives Back to OSU and Future Environmental Professionals

In February, Brett Baughman, M.S., Manager of the Environment and Natural Resource Scholars at The Ohio State University, invited Brandon Hill, Senior Project Manager and Natural Resources Team Leader at MSG, to participate in an Environmental Issue Simulation.

ENR Scholars formed teams to explore Bellaire, OH’s cultural assets, assess brownfield restoration opportunities, evaluate green infrastructure needs, and develop revitalization proposals for the town.

Each team presented innovative designs to transform reclaimed brownfield spaces, incorporating four green infrastructure investments, addressing public perception challenges, and outlining a budget and timeline.
Through this hands-on experience, students gained valuable insight into the proposal process, explored green infrastructure solutions, and honed their teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
