Driving collaboration across all boundaries, Todd Brown is excelling in his new role as MSG’s Municipal Leader. Brown is tasked with coordinating MSG’s municipal work across 24 offices and multiple states. His collaborative nature and servant-leadership put the emphasis on the success of our clients and the needs of his team.
Brown came to MSG nearly seven years ago, leaving his post as the Director of Parks and Engineering with the City of Adrian, Michigan. Even though he moved to the consulting side, Brown’s philosophy of public service remains. He believes in the value of community infrastructure to improve the lives of citizens.
“Todd keeps his eye on the goal and builds support for what the team can achieve, while challenging the definition of success for the group,” explained Aric Bennett, MSG’s Chief Strategy & Growth Officer.
An authentic leader, Brown’s career is rooted in public administration. Brown spent a cumulative 15+ years with the City of Adrian, Michigan as Director of Parks & Engineering, and as a project manager for the engineering and utilities departments. This time, along with time spent with other consulting firms, contributes to his knowledge of the municipal world. His 26 years of expertise lies in design and construction related services for water, sewer and roadway projects in addition to grant pursuits, asset management, program management and overall municipal administration.
We invite current and future clients to reach out to him if they would like to talk through a project. He’s a wealth of information and brings benchmarking knowledge from many municipalities.
