TMMI Receives 2015 Concrete Achievement Award

MSG's project at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana (TMMI) Plant in Princeton, Indiana (home of the Sequoia, Highlander and Sienna) recently received the 2015 Concrete Achievement Award for Excellence in Concrete Construction from the Indiana Ready Mixed Concrete Association. For the TMMI Container Yard Project MSG provided engineering design, topographic survey, and construction materials testing services. Notably, MSG developed a custom designed cement stabilization soil subgrade treatment with roller compacted concrete pavement. MSG also developed and implemented a specialized field and laboratory CQA testing program to satisfy Toyota's stringent expectations for construction quality and integrity. MSG was retained by Toyota for this project to replace a competing engineering firm and the MSG design resulted in over $1.5 million in savings for Toyota over the previous design.
