Summit County Miniture Bridge Building Competition

Engineers Week 2018: MSG-Cleveland is a proud sponsor of the Summit County Engineer’s Miniature Bridge Building Competition, now in its 18th year. The event, being held February 23 at the Summit County Fairgrounds, is designed to encourage area high school students to implement scientific and mathematical principles they have learned in the classroom. Teams design and build balsa wood bridges that are judged on aesthetics, compliance to specifications, and load carrying capacity. Winners receive cash prizes and scholarship opportunities. #engineersweek
