Sawyer Quarry Nature Preserve is Now Open

Congrats to the Wood County Park District on the recent opening of the Sawyer Quarry Nature Preserve. The 61-acre property at a former limestone quarry includes hiking trails, rock climbing and other recreational activities and educational programs. MSG provided site design including parking facilities, geotechnical investigations, survey, environmental work, and construction administration. Careful consideration during design and construction minimized impacts to the natural setting of surrounding woods and provided sustainable stormwater management into the overall design.
