Project Highlight - Osi Art Apartments @ West End in the City of Detroit

MSG provided civil and geotechnical engineering, landscape design, and surveying services for URGE Development on the Osi Art Apartments @ West End in the City of Detroit. Quinn Evans Architects serves as the architect of record with VolumeOne contributing to design of the four-story, mixed-use development providing residential apartments and local retail opportunities. Located on a congested, complicated site less than ½-acre in size, the project required specialized environmental controls, geotechnical investigations and employment of geopiers to address the soil conditions and impacts of prior deployments. URGE strategically located this development to serve neighborhood residents with local commercial needs, cost effective, high quality housing, and low impact considerations including Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers and storm water management BMPs.
