Oak Openings in Metroparks Toledo - Ribbon Cutting Event

In honor of Earth Day on April 22^nd, our Senior Vice President/Principal, Sally Gladwell, had the opportunity to attend a ribbon-cutting event on Metroparks Toledo property in Oak Openings celebrating successful wetland restoration by Metroparks Toledo, courtesy of funding through the H2Ohio in partnership with Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Ohio Department of Agriculture, and Ohio Lake Erie Commission. The property, which was previously farmed, was restored and regraded to create a wetland habitat and allow water to flow through the wetland. It is another outstanding example of the important work being undertaken in the region to restore Ohio’s lost wetlands and improve water quality in Lake Erie.
