New Waterville Bridge Design Unveiled

We are proud and excited about our design for the new Waterville Bridge over the Maumee River in Waterville, Ohio, and appreciate the enthusiasm of local residents for this landmark structure. Inspired by the architectural elements of local historic sites, the MSG bridge design features a decorative metal railing and lighting, observation platforms, and stamped concrete piers and retaining walls that match the existing bridge, which was constructed in 1901. A pedestrian walkway with unobstructed views of the river and a construction schedule that will not close the crossing to traffic for extended periods of time are also part of the design for the $20-$22M ODOT project.
