MSG Presents at the Michigan Infrastructure Conference

"Re-Imagining Infrastructure and Under-Utilized Landscape" was presented by MSG's Charles Poat, AIA, LEED AP, at the Michigan Infrastructure Conference, which was held on June 4th, at the Inn at St. John's in Plymouth. The presentation provided insight to business-based green infrastructure collaboration spanning a four-year evolution of urban master planning to current implementation around District 5's Chene Ferry Market. Current projects included RecoveryPark and EPA Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) 32-acre Storm Water Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) separation. The presentation helped attendees understand the shift from convention to innovation while re-imagining urban infrastructure resulting in "win-win" opportunities for real estate development.
