MSG Expands Transportation Construction Services with New Role

The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG) is expanding the firm's Transportation Construction Services in order to advantageously prepare for the growing market. To accomplish the firm's goal to expand business within existing viable markets, MSG has announced a new leadership position, appointing Aric Bennett to the position of Vice President of Transportation Construction Services.
Aric's primary duties will consist of developing and implementing a company-wide transportation construction services business plan in pursuit of Transportation and Municipal projects, as well as leading the overall operations of this practice area. His prior construction management experience and responsibility for maintaining the MSG Construction Quality Control and Quality Assurance Program provides him the perspective and knowledge that will serve him well as he transitions into his new role. Aric has been instrumental in the growth, leadership and financial success of MSG's construction services within the Michigan Transportation market and MSG is confident that he will deliver that same success to the Ohio Transportation market.
A graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, Aric began his career in the Geotechnical Engineering market, eventually altering his concentration to the Civil Engineering market to provide construction management services for Transportation and Municipal projects. His varied experience, gregarious attitude and forward-looking approach has made Aric an exceptionally valuable resource to the MSG team since he started with the company in 2006. When Aric is not actively pursuing projects, he values spending time with his wife Heather and their three children, Audrey, Evan and Allory. He also enjoys camping, golfing and coaching his children's sports.
