PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkly Substances) are a broad range of man-made chemicals, usually resulting from commercial and industrial applications, that can be found in the ground, water and air. The problem with PFAS is that they are endocrine blocking or endocrine disrupting chemicals and they don’t rapidly degrade within the human body.
