MSG Brings Home the ACEC Outstanding Small Project Award

Big news for a great project!

The American Council of Engineering Companies of Ohio (ACEC Ohio) recently recognized 29 projects as part of their annual Engineering Excellence Awards Competition. The award program brings well-deserved public recognition to Ohio's engineering industry by spotlighting engineering projects that demonstrate a high degree of uniqueness, ingenuity and value.

“The talent and achievements the engineering community shares at this award ceremony is truly inspiring,” stated Beth Easterday, President of ACEC Ohio. “They are building connections and enhacing communities every day.”

This year, MSG received the Outstanding Small Project award for the Road 17C Bridge over the Maimi and Erie Canal in Florida, Ohio. Designed for the Office of the Henry County Engineer, the MSG design team incorporated the historical importance of the canal system into the design of the bridge, designed the structure to be installed using Accelerated Bridge Construction, and addressed complex hydraulic considerations on the project.
