MSG Achieves Honorable Conceptor Award at the 2020 ACEC/M Gala

Congratulations to Chris Riharb, representing The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc., and Roger Gaudette, representing Ford Motor Company, for receiving one of five Honorable Conceptor Awards in Engineering at the 2020 ACEC/M Awards Gala this weekend for their work at the Ford Flat Rock Facility.

Mannik & Smith, along with IBI Group and Granger Construction, worked with Ford to construct a 250,000-sf facility over a closed landfill in Flat Rock, Michigan. As a critical part of this challenge, MSG was tasked with evaluating the environmental and geotechnical feasibility of the project. MSG team members further provided engineering and consulting expertise to help develop the scope of the project, as well as design and construction phases.
