Miniature Bridge Building Competition

The Summit County Engineer is hosting the 22nd Annual Miniature Bridge Building Competition today! The event encourages area high school students to build balsa wood bridges of their own design, and compete for valuable prizes and scholarship opportunities. Bridges are judged on aesthetics, compliance with specifications, and load-carrying capacity. In 2022, over $15K in scholarships were awarded.
