Dean George, PMP, is MSG’s new Business Unit Leader for Michigan. He brings a track record of leading high-performance teams, and he’s already diving into his new role with the firm.
Dean is responsible for all operational functions in Michigan. Based in our Detroit, Michigan office, Dean will work closely with all nine of our Michigan locations: Adrian, Canton, Detroit, East Tawas, Grand Rapids, Houghton, Lansing, Monroe, and Traverse City.
This new role will help MSG strengthen our coordination across teams, continue our growth, and ensure technical excellence. In addition to his operational responsibilities, Dean will also work to empower employees, support recruitment and retention, and improve communication. Dean’s guidance will allow our service line directors to focus more closely on their state-specific responsibilities.
Dean has proven experience in the infrastructure world, and he’s known for driving operational excellence, profitability, and organizational growth. He’s a 30-year-veteran of the water and wastewater industry known for his leadership, data management, and creating scalable systems that support cultural continuity.
“Dean is beginning to engage with our many successful teams and optimize their existing processes. Focused solely on Michigan, Dean will have the bandwidth to focus on key areas of growth and strength. His impact will improve the way we work, so we can give our clients the best solutions and the best project delivery experience,” said Brian Geer, President of MSG.
