Celebrating Engineers Week - Designing for Livability

Celebrating Engineers Week –Livability is an important objective in the engineering design of highways, streets, shared use trails, and parking facilities. A livable transportation system promotes community goals such as safe and efficient transit while accommodating a range of travel modes and minimizing emissions and environmental damage. MSG recently designed the reconstruction of Milan Avenue in Norwalk and assisted the City in the preparation of an application for $1.9M in funding from the Federal Small City program, administered by ODOT, which helped to finance the project. #EWeek2021
