Structural Engineer
Toledo, OH
Candidates should have a higher level education in the field of horizontal (bridges, culvert, retaining walls) structural engineer, experience with Bridge Design Software, MicroStation and AutoCAD, preferably in a transportation context, and strong ability and understanding of structural design process. Duties will include: Design of basic structure elements; developing and providing design layout of various bridge and structural plan sheets & conceptual design layouts under the supervision of a senior engineer; perform bridge inspections; and ability to provide logical document control using MSG standards for naming and filing. Prior bridge inspection experience, including ODOT approved classes, is recommended but not required.
The candidate must be able to work well in a teaming environment, and also be able to produce desired deliverables individually.
