Candidates should have a higher level education in the field of computer aided drafting (CAD), experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD, preferably in a transportation context, and strong ability and understanding of structural detailing practice. Duties will include: Development of base sheets to be referenced for plan sheet development; developing and providing design layout of various bridge and structural plan sheets & conceptual design layouts under the supervision of a design engineer; perform field inspections; and ability to provide logical document control using MSG standards for naming and filing. The candidate must be able to work well in a teaming environment, and also be able to produce desired deliverables individually.
