Danielle Julien - Award Recipient - EMU's Distinguished Alumni Award

On April 18, Danielle Julien won the Distinguished Alumni Award from EMU’s Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminology.  This is the first time in the history of the program that the award has been granted to an Anthropologist. Danielle was recognized for her hard work and dedication to starting EMU’s Anthropology Alumni Chapter, and to creating and fund-raising for the Emergency Relief Scholarships, which helped undergraduate students in the program to be able to continue their studies during the pandemic. One of the newest members of Maumee’s Cultural Resources Group, Danielle Julien is an Osteoarchaeologist. Please join us in a deserving congratulations to Danielle.
