MSG is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer candidate with experience in geotechnical engineering, investigations, report writing and plans/specifications, geotechnical project support, geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring, laboratory quality management, and QA/QC reviews for WVDOH projects. Geotechnical software knowledge is required. The candidate must possess strong leadership, interpersonal skills, communication skills (oral & written), be able to work in a teaming environment with other geotechnical engineers, material testing, laboratory and drilling technicians, and can work from the Charleston office. A degree in Civil Engineering (or approved related field) is required. Five plus years of experience is required. A WV PE license or the ability obtain reciprocal licensing in WV is preferred.
Experience considered a plus includes geotechnical design, industrial site design, landfill design, remediation design, demolition design, and a working knowledge of Microsoft based programs.
